Spring has sprung and we’re slowly transitioning to outfits that will match the warmer season. If you’re looking for a new pair of budget slides that can compete with upscale brands, then you’ll be delighted to know about the latest item from Big W that won the hearts of fashionistas.
The retail giant floored thousands of shoppers with $8 slides that were hailed as a dupe for a high-end fashion brand, Yeezy.
Sydney TikToker Chelsea first spotted the budget footwear on Big W’s shelves and featured them in an Instagram video to alert her followers.
'If you love a high-ticket item, you bet I'll track down a dupe version of it. Big W has $8 slides in four colour ways!' she captioned the post.

'Better run for these ones before they sell out!'
While the Yeezy slides aren't sold in Australia, Adidas sells a similar version for hundreds of dollars. But Big W has come to the rescue. The women's slides are ideal for those on a budget.
The cosy, moulded design is perfect as summer gradually creeps closer. The pair also features textured soles for added convenience when slipping the shoes on and off.
The product is available in-store and online in the colours brown, black, khaki, and grey.

Many declared that they needed to get their hands on the Big W buy 'immediately'.
One person said: 'These are insanely cheap and they look heaps better than the Cotton On ones! Be right back, running to Big W!'
'I want these!' another added.
Last month, Chelsea found another 'dupe' of a popular pair of $200 sandals while scanning the aisles of Target. She spotted the Maia Double Band slides, which look identical to the Alias Mae Paris sandals.
While shopping, Chelsea couldn’t resist filming her discovery. She shared footage of the budget shoes in a TikTok video that was seen by thousands.
'I found the best dupes for the Alias Mae sandals,' she wrote in the video.
Chelsea's video has since amassed over 30,000 views, leaving dozens of users keen to buy the item.
Both shoes are also available online in sizes five to 10, but the sandals from Target are a great choice for those who’d rather not spend hundreds of their hard-earned money on a new pair of footwear.
Hooray for cheaper products that are just as stylish and functional as high-end versions! What are your thoughts about these budget-friendly shoes? Will you be racing to the store to get your hands on them?
