Fake celebrity online investment scams

There are more fake celebrity online investment scams around so be on the lookout.
Don’t click on any links where a celebrity or public figure is (supposedly) advertising or promoting a product or service.

Got an email yesterday from the usual investment scammers which states that the Bank of Australia will take "legal action" against Bill Shorten! Ha ha ha!

There is NO SUCH THING AS "Bank of Australia"!

Give me a break!

I received another scam email letter this morning, supposed to have been sent by the government, and addressed to undisclosed recipients. If this was real it would be addressed to me by name, as follows

No "SUPER STAR" can influence my decision. Seeing one on T.V. & they say l use this or similar we know it's b.s. because that is a paid ad.

These fake celebrity investment scams are everywhere. It's always best to check things out for yourself and not just trust what you see.

Why are these "personalities" unable to stop their images being used to promote these scams? Isn't there anything any of them can do to prevent their faces being used to rip people off? "Twiggy" Forrest had a go, but what's the latest in his case?
