Fact of the Day: Gold is the only yellow metal
When we say metal, we immediately think of hues of silver, chrome, and even slate.
But among these metals is one exception: Gold. Gold is the only metal with a natural yellow colour. How does it keep its bright and striking hue?
Other metals darken or turn a yellowish colour after they have oxidised. However, that is not the case with Gold due to its inertness, or high resistance to other elements or chemicals.
