What a waste giving gifts and especially cash to someone so wealthy - wouldn'y it have been better that they all gave the $ equivalent to worthy causes, and maybe he should have stipulated as such, especially those he has made some vile comments about. I am not a fan of Sandilands at all but if he wished to spend that sort of money on his wedding and he has it, why not. As for the gifts, well if he was fair dinkum he would have requested guests to make donations to charities instead of bringing gifts, just imagine what a difference those dollar amounts could have made to medical research or the children's hospital or the like.
