Ah, the ‘90s… It was a good time for TV fans with great shows aplenty!
And now, one popular TV show is set to return on Channel 10 next year!
The return of Gladiators, an Australian reality television program that premiered on Channel 7 in 1995 and was briefly revived in 2008, is sure to have fans everywhere rejoicing!

The show was originally hosted by actors Kimberley Joseph and Aaron Pedersen, the latter of whom was replaced by radio host Mike Hammond following the first series.
This time, the show’s hosting gig will be filled by an iconic duo—retired NRL player Beau Ryan and netball great Liz Ellis.
The format of the show involved resident competitors—called the ‘Gladiators’—pitted against one-off Contenders who battled it out in gruelling events in front of an arena audience. The revived series will follow a similar format, and will include newly-created events and fan favourites such as Hang Tough, The Wall, Power Ball, Pyramid, Duel, and The Eliminator.
Filming will start next month in Sydney and will be produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production.
Liz Ellis is 'super pumped' about the opportunity. She said: 'It’s an iconic franchise, and I’m excited about the reboot. It is set to showcase some of my favourite Gladiator challenges from the original series as well as throw up a few new ones for us to fall in love with.'
Meanwhile, Ryan Beau said he grew up watching Gladiators and feels honoured to co-host the reboot.
'I am beyond excited to be hosting Gladiators alongside the great Liz Ellis. Liz is a national treasure, and we are going to have a lot of fun. I grew up watching and loving Gladiators and can’t wait to get into it. It’s going to be spectacular,' Beau said.

Neighbours, one of Australia's most iconic drama series, is set to air on Monday, September 18th, on both Amazon Freevee and Network 10.
Last year, the TV show, which had been on the air for an impressive 37 years had to cease production when its production company could not find a new network.
However, Amazon Freevee and Prime Video stepped in just a few months after the star-studded finale aired and saved the show.
They started production in Melbourne earlier this year and it looks as if fans will be in for a real treat when the series airs in a few days.
