Benefits of eucalyptus herbal tea on the body

Eucalyptus is known for its anti-infectious, expectorant (1,8-cineole, α-pinene), mucolytic (1,8-cineole, α-pinene),
antiseptic (1,8-cineole, α-pinene), antitussive (1,8-cineole, tannins), anti-inflammatory (1,8 cineole, flavonoids), and hypoglycemic properties.
Eucalyptus infusions are therefore ideal during the winter period.
Here is an overview of the health benefits of this plant, and advice on how to prepare it by inhalation or infusion.

RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS (cold, sinusitis, bronchitis, flu):
Eucalyptus promotes the evacuation of secretions, which helps relieve bronchitis or coughs, and it fights the flu.
In case of Bronchitis, Cold, Sinusitis, Flu
Recommended methods of use:
👉Infusion
Pour the equivalent of 1 teaspoon, or about 2 g of dry leaves for a cup of hot water, then let infuse for 15 minutes. Drink 3 times a day.

👉In decoction
Pour the equivalent of 1 tablespoon of dry leaves per cup into cold water. Boil for 3 minutes then let infuse for 10 minutes. Drink 2 to 3 cups a day.

IMPROVE BREATHING
Eucalyptus tea contains cineole, a substance that helps treat respiratory infections such as colds, flu and sinusitis. It can also help decongest the airways and can therefore be used to improve breathing, clear the airways and unclog a blocked nose.

DISINFECTION:
Eucalyptus is a powerful antiseptic.
🍀 The infusion and mother tincture can be used to clean wounds, including burns and skin ulcers.
🍀 Eucalyptus steam purifies the air in the room of a sick person (with a cold, for example).
🍀 Its antifungal action acts on scalp fungus and helps fight lice.

SORE THROAT:
In case of sore throat, angina of any kind.

👉Gargle
Infuse 2 g to 3 g of dried leaves in 100 ml of boiling water for 10 minutes. Rinse your mouth or gargle with the filtered and cooled preparation, two to three times a day.

IN CASE OF A FATTY COUGH
It helps eliminate phlegm and helps treat coughs due to colds, flu, sinusitis, adenitis, tonsillitis, asthma or bronchitis.

Eucalyptus tea has an antibacterial and antiseptic action, thanks to eucalyptol and macrocarpal C in its composition. These substances help eliminate bacteria from the mouth that can contribute to bad breath or gingivitis. It is an excellent option that can be used as a mouth gargle.
👉Infuse 2 g to 3 g of dried leaves in 100 ml of boiling water for 10 minutes. Rinse your mouth or gargle with the filtered and cooled preparation, two to three times a day.
