Yet it’s so profound, and I hope will help shift something deep within So let’s do this together right now... I want you to think of something you know is 100% Not True. I'll help you out in case you're stuck... “I’m an elephant” Because your reading this I know your human, so ‘I’m an elephant” is 100% UNTRUE "Gravity doesn’t exist" That would also work. Both of those are 100% things you know aren't true (hopefully!). Anything like that will do. If your stuck just pick one of the Obote examples OK so here's the fun bit... Set a timer on your phone for one minute Now for that whole minute… …I want you to Keep saying, over and over in your mind the chosen Untruth "I'm an Elephant...I'm an Elephant...I'm a Elephant..." Or... "Gravity doesn't exist...gravity doesn't exist...gravity doesn't exist...". Keep saying it for the whole minute then come back to me. Go on Do it now! OK done it? Great! Now here's the question... Did you believe that statement at any point? Despite repeating it over and over again - did you ever believe it was true? No right! Those words just rattled around in your head, bouncing between your ears.., …but you didn't believe them! OK so now to the empowering part... MANY, MANY of the things you tell yourself aren't true... You just think they are. "I can't do X". "I'll never be Y". "She/He should/shouldn't have done X" MANY, MANY of the things you tell yourself are no different to the Elephant or Gravity comment. They're just words rattling around inside your head. Difference is, you choose to pay them more attention. You take them seriously. Truly powerful and peaceful people can hear ANY words in their head... And feel the same way about them as the Elephant or Gravity comment. They're just words. That's it, nothing more They need have no power over you unless you give them power, by listening to them and paying them attention. The practise that changes lives is hearing words in your head but not taking them seriously. If you can get to that point - nothing stands in your way!
