Easy internet communication

Given our limited travel at present, members may like to know about a free-of-charge internet face-to-face system providing communication with anyone around the world. Some members may already know about this system. I use it in my therapy business and it works very well. It is called Viber. Each person wanting to communicate enters the mobile phone number of the other person into their mobile phone contact list. Then each downloads Viber from www.viber.com. After that, Viber will connect them on any linked devices (e.g. laptop, desktop computer, mobile phone). Unlike Zoom, Viber is free to use and there is no time limit on calls. I use it to communicate regularly with friends in Melbourne and in Canada. For overseas calls, you need to add the country code at the beginning when you put their phone number into your mobile phone. There is a video icon to click that turns on the view screen (the icon is a square with a little triangle on one side - looks like a tiny video camera). When you download it, Viber will show your mobile phone contact list and will indicate by a little purple phone icon which people on your list already have Viber. Some of you may already use Skype. Viber operates in a similar way but I find it easier to use. If we cannot travel or prefer to stay at home right now, Viber provides easy electronic face-to-face communication with friends and family. It is not in-person visiting, but it is the next best thing. If this is your first try at video communication, why not jump in and see what happens. I would love to hear how you get on.
