Easy Beef n Vegetable Stir fry

We are so lucky to live in a country where we have access to an abundance of amazing vegetables .

I love stir-fry where you can throw just about anything in it .

Ingredients

770 grams beef steak, slice thin (I used Porterhouse steak from aldi )

1 onion cut into thin wedges

1 garlic clove minced or 1 teaspoon jar garlic

1 broccoli head broken into small florets

1 red capsicum sliced diagonally

1 carrot 🥕 sliced thin

1 Can of baby corn spears

1 tablespoon vegetable oil


noodles to serve

SAUCE

1 cup beef stock

2 teaspoons cornflour

1 tablespoon soya sauce

1 teaspoon sugar

METHOD

1. Add oil to wok or large pan . Heat and add beef brown

2. Add onions and garlic and cook for a few minutes.

3. Add all other vegetables and cook for 5 minutes .

4. In a jug add cornflour and a little beef stock and mix. Add the rest of the beef stock, sugar and soya sauce and mix. Pour over beef and vegetables and cook until thickened.

serve hot with noodles of choice

NOTE
:

Another sauce I make is

1/3 cup oyster sauce

1 tablespoon chinese cooking wine

1/4 cup chicken stock

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 Tablespoon brown sugar.

Method

Add all ingredients into a small jug . Whisk then add to meat and vegetables follow from step 4

I mostly do the first sauce
