I had a little brat of a kid sit behind me in a movie theatre in Lismore pre-flood, who kept repeatedly kicking hard into the back of my seat, about kidney height, it really hurt.

I turned around to show my quiet annoyance and the ten-year-old smiled and kept on kicking, his larger sized father looked across at me, not fussed, possibly because I was obviously smaller. They both just grinned. He kept on kicking to annoy me, but I sat on the edge of my seat, because I wanted to keep watching the movie.

The movie finished and when we got up, I walked about an inch and a half behind him up out the theatre and I stayed there right up close beneath his shoulders, behind him and stayed in close, right to the edge of the stairs.

H started to turn around, so I lightly tugged on his collar bringing his face down next to mine and very I quietly said. Your lack of respect for others, could get you very badly injured one day. This is just a reminder, and I let him go.

His child looked horrified, he looked worried, and I waved goodbye as they looked back up at me from down the bottom of the stairs and moved off. Yep, quietly spoken warnings with the parents if you can't stop their children, is all you need.

I doubt if either of them, would be doing that again.

The lower part of my back was sore for ages.

You should have sat on the arm rest giving them no view of the movie!

Know not a good idea, the theatre was packed, and what I instinctively did sorted it out in the most amicable manner.

He won't let his son misbehave like that again, was my feeling. Both would have talked about it, on the way home.

Drum Solo

The longest drum solo ever played
was ten hours and twenty minutes.

It was performed by the child who
sat behind me on a Qantas flight from

Perth to Hong Kong.
Reminds me of a time on a little cargo passenger ship, a couple had thiere young obnoxious tenege son with and I got fed up with him playing up at meal-times, So I secretly hid a heavy silver serving in my glass cloth and as I walked past him I dropped it on his head, any way the little went down like bag of shit he was moaning about his head, his mother admonished withe the remark that was only a glass cloth. In the meantime i git rid of it quick smart. The upshot was he didn't play up at mealtimes againand The Purser gave two hours extra overtime and at the end of the voyage his parents gave me 50 pounds for looking after them.I almost forgot mention this was the birthday gift I used people kids for Christmas and Birthdays I guess I was a bit of a bastard.

Actually, I suggest mate, that you are a likeminded larrikin.

We are right thought societies all over the world. Right now, somewhere, someone who is blatantly disrespecting others around them, is being lessoned by a larrikin that if your parents won't smack you, then someone in society will.

We don't make the papers and rarely ever get spotted because we administer justice without malice with the one message. That message is, you better behave yourself, and not cause trouble, we are all in this together.

I am actually writing a couple of books about Larrikins right now. My feedback sun is goodonya for assisting someone, to grow up with societal respect. :)

If our actions get spotted, we are always complimented or rewarded because mentorship is a service.
