Driving License return. I recently decided to hand in my driving license because of my failing health.​

As a responsible citizen I thought this a prudent course of action. I still had over three years left on a five year license and was patiently awaiting my refund. after a few months and no refund I contacted the main roads department and was informed that they did not give refunds. I asked for the return of my license and was told that I would have to purchase one. This I give as a warning to other persons thinking of being responsible. Brian Thorogood. Karumba

I live in victoria and I got a lovely refund on mine when I did that. But that was about 5 years ago.
