Memories yes fond ones no I remember my Mum had one similar to that 70 odd years ago, I hated the thing. Maybe it was old fashioned then and I didn’t and still don’t like old fashioned even though I’m now old !! I’ve always preferred modern

yes my mother had one and it was her pride and joy. She did and then subsequently I did, have ourwedding photostaken sitting at this lovely piece offurniture

My mother in law had one like this, now my daughter has it along with the nice wardrobe and lowboy that formed the matching set. Daughter loves them and has them in her house and uses them. She also has the matching double bed, still with the wire base that can be tightened if it sags. she used the bed when she lived at home, now she has it in one of her spare bedrooms. All are in really good condition.
