It might be hard to believe, but it's true: you can now kick back and relax in charming cities like Rome and Paris for less than you'd expect!
Etihad Airways, an international airline headquartered in Abu Dhabi, is currently having a huge flash sale for Aussies looking to get out and explore the wonders of Europe and the Middle East.
However, there's just less than one day left before you lose the chance to book a flight and experience all these places at low prices.
Until October 3rd, you'll be able to get hold of cheap return fares from Sydney and Melbourne to 13 international destinations with Etihad Airways.
Sarah Built, the airline's Vice President of Sales in Australasia said: 'Australians are keen adventurers, and so we’ve been focused on expanding our international network to serve them better.'
'This year alone we’ve added 11 new destinations, including European destinations like Lisbon, Mykonos, Copenhagen and Dusseldorf.'
'With travel out of Australia firmly back on the map post the pandemic, we’re actively exploring new destinations to give our guests even more choice in the near future,' Ms Built added.
These discounted fares are available on eligible travel dates between October 4th and November 22nd this year but should be booked by October 3rd.
Aussies can fly back and forth to the Middle East from Sydney or Melbourne starting from $1,249.
For those planning to visit the 'City of Love', return fares from Sydney to Paris are sold for $1,249, while those taking off from Melbourne can enjoy discounted round trip fares from $1,629.
Want to holiday in Italy? If you're departing from Sydney, you could fly to Milan and back for $1,399, or enjoy a round trip fare to Rome for $1,639.
Meanwhile, from Melbourne, the round trip fares to Milan are $1,459 and the round trip fare to Rome come in at $1,709.
The airline's new routes to Copenhagen, Denmark, and Dusseldorf, Germany, which were launched this month, are discounted as well.
Flying from Sydney to Copenhagen will cost you $1,559 and from Melbourne to Copenhagen will be $1,509, while a round trip fare from Sydney to Dusseldorf goes for $1,719, or $1,709 if coming from Melbourne.
In other news, according to research by travel site Expedia, travellers could save big on upcoming flights by booking on specific days or departing at specific times.
For instance, travellers looking at domestic flights can snag an average saving of 20 per cent by booking on Sundays instead of Fridays.
Furthermore, leaving on a Friday also reigns supreme for international flights, saving Aussies up to 23 per cent on average.
