Domino's launches new BURGER range: 'You've never had pizza like this before!'
- Replies 9
Domino's is going up against famous fast food burger chains like McDonald's and Hungry Jack's with the latest addition to their menu: a 'burger' like you've never seen before.
Wait, did we read it right? Actual 'burgers' offered by a pizza joint? Consider us curious…
On Monday, August 8, Domino's finally added 'burgers' to their menu, which is exactly what everyone had been asking for, and Aussies couldn't be happier. But there’s a twist…
Introducing their all-new Burger Joint Pizza Range, which features cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, hamburger, and bacon hamburger pizzas.
Okay, so technically speaking, they are still pizzas, but a burger and pizza combined into one dish? Yes, please!

'You've never had a burger delivered like this before,' claimed David Burness, CEO of Domino's Australia and New Zealand.
'We have taken almost 40 years of experience as Australia's food delivery experts and developed a burger specifically for the delivery generation. No more soggy bread rolls and limp lettuce. Domino's is bringing home the burger – on a pizza.'
If you're wondering what toppings are on these burger-inspired pizzas, you don't have to look any further than the list below:
Burger Joint Cheeseburger – loaded with 100% all beef burger pieces, cheese slices, mozzarella and butter pickles topped with special burger sauce.
Burger Joint Bacon Cheeseburger – loaded with 100% all beef burger pieces, cheese slices, mozzarella, butter pickles and crispy bacon topped with special burger sauce.
Burger Joint Hamburger – loaded with 100% all beef burger pieces, cheese slices, red onion, fresh tomato, mozzarella and butter pickles finished with mayonnaise and tomato ketchup.

According to Michael Treacy, chef of Domino's Culinary Innovation & Development, this new line offers 'a whole new burger experience'.
'We live in the Golden Age of Delivery, and burgers have yet to "ketchup",' Mr Treacy said. 'They're often cold or falling apart by the time they reach your door because they were simply never designed to be delivered.
'What makes our Burger Joint pizzas so incredible is that our premium ingredients were carefully chosen for maximum burger goodness while ensuring they could be delivered hot & fresh just like a Domino's pizza.'
The Burger Joint Cheeseburger, which costs $10.95, and the Burger Joint Hamburger, which costs $18.95, are both parts of the exclusive range which can be ordered through the Domino's App.
Customers have the option to pick up or have the burger-inspired pizzas delivered.
Even though these pizzas aren't the healthiest option for a meal, we have to admit that they look delicious, and we’re looking forward to trying them. And given how big they are, we think the whole family could enjoy it!
These look great for a movie night or a Sunday afternoon when the grandkids come to visit, don't you think?
