Does Coles bake their own bread..??
Coles bakery bread by Laurent is frozen,
Spoke to a baker in the Coles bakery and he told me that all bread that says Coles Bakery by Laurent in a packaging is made in a facility, frozen and delivered to the store for the bakery to heat up in the oven in the morning. That’s the reason why they are always hard. Only fresh ones are the burgers buns and rolls that aren’t under the Laurent branding.
Pretty stunned by it, so thought I’d share it with the community.
I’ve bought it before and it was stale, I never understood why.
Now i Know why!
