Do you remember the story of Peta-Lynn Mann?
Peta-Lynn Mann was a name that captured the public’s attention in 1981 — and for good reason.
She fought off a 4-metre-long crocodile that lunged at her friend and managed to keep her wits about her. She brought her companion to shore and drove her friend to get help. Oh, did we mention she was 12 at the time?
A year later, this picture was taken, with no less than Queen Elizabeth handing over recognition for her brave feat. Have you had a run-in with a croc or shark? Or maybe you know of someone who saved another person’s life? Tell us all about it here!
