Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at allDon’t give me a problem, give me a solution
Nice to hear you are getting better.. Welcome back!It feels so good to come home and read everone's comments again. I just spent the last week in Grafton Base Hospital with a very bad chest infection and pneumonia. I can't praise the nursing staff more highly. They go out of their way to help and it seems they are all happy even though there are some nasty patients to deal with. The Wardsman who took me in a wheelchair to my son's car told me its a great place to work because everyone gets on with each other so well.
It feels like the United Nations being in there as there are staff in all sections from just about every country in the world.
.Walk slowly through the crowd and take time to smell the roses. These words were given to me by a very successful wise 85 year old over 10 years ago it has helped me to slow down, take time out, notice people and to remember to speak with staff instead of being too focussed on tasks for the day. They still continue to help me now in my retirement. A quote by Larry Combs also helped me "Always look up, within and beyond. Have a great Sunday! Pete
…Care about the one's that care about you.
This saying doesn't sound all that good but I have said it more times than I can count.
"No my monkey not my circus."
Because of what I have been through in my life I see people I could help but I have to stop myself as some will use you until nothing is left.
Love thatLove this quote:
It is what it is, it was what it was, it will be what it will be......don't stress it.
