I dont know where to start. Queensland is so far behind. In Brisbane it is in need of major spending. In the rest of Queensland it is very inadequate. Tactile tiles are our way of moving around the community. I call upon all Government officials to go into the community blindfolded and do their normal tasks blindfolded. I am tired of being told by department people that they will refer it. I however have not been contacted by my local council member even though I have con them several times. Meanwhile my safety in the community has been severely compromise. I know that people of all ages kick them up. Education is what is needed. I call upon the government to make braille part of the curriculum as they have decided that only a qualified teacher can teach braille so the vision impaired people have gone without whilst said people are being taugh. This is not assistance this is stupidit.
