The weight-loss drug that Harvey Fierstein credits for his transformation is part of a new wave of treatments that target obesity more effectively. These medications work in various ways, such as reducing appetite, inhibiting fat absorption, or increasing feelings of fullness. However, it's crucial to remember that these drugs are not magic bullets. They are most effective when combined with lifestyle changes, such as a balanced diet and regular physical activity.

It's also important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any weight-loss medication. They can provide guidance on the most appropriate treatment based on individual health profiles and ensure that any medication is safely integrated into one's health regimen.

My partner has been put on the Ozempic injections, he hasn't lost even half a kilo in the last 6 weeks on it, he put on a kilo 😂
My friend is the same. She is on Ozempic as well as her usual diabetic medication and hasn’t lost an ounce. Her husband lost 15kg but now his weight loss has stopped too.

My wife is a type one diabetic and was put onto one of these weight loss drug to help control her diabetes. The first six months of being on the drug was fine and then she encountered shortages with the drug supply stating unforeseen increase in demand. My wife was forced to stop and restart the drug several time having to go through the symptoms of the drug each time she restarted the drug only to find it in short supply again. My wife eventually gave up when the pharmacy could no longer give us any idea of when supply would resume again. The last we herd was that there was a wait time of over six months, and no guarantee of consistent supply.

What is the weight loss drug? Why print a story with lack of information. Waste of time reading it
My wife was on Ozempic. As I said the drug was great when my wife was on it. However consistent supply issues constantly on and off the drug made my wife go through the issues of nausea and eventually she gave up using it. These drugs all use the same base ingredient semaglutide. Cheers.
