As we all know, many of us here are fond of our chocolate bars—who doesn't love a Cadbury Caramello now and then? But as much as these sweet treats brighten our day, the guilt that comes from eating them can be hard to avoid.
Thankfully, there's a solution.
Tigga Maccormack, a Melbourne-based cake artist with a devoted following of 1.6 million followers on social media, recently delighted her audience with a recipe for a delicious and healthy Snickers snack.
According to Tigga in her video, it only takes three ingredients, fifteen minutes, and no baking to prepare—perfect if you're looking for a summer-friendly snack!
She began by taking SunRice mini rice cakes and generously spread peanut butter on each one.
Next, she created little sandwiches by pressing two biscuits together. To achieve that authentic Snickers bar flavour, she dipped each sandwich into melted milk chocolate and coated them with crushed nuts.
Once all the treats were assembled, she placed them in the freezer for a 10-minute chill. After this short wait, they were ready to be enjoyed!
Tigga admitted she was a bit sceptical about her creation at first, but she was pleasantly surprised at how well they turned out. She even referred to her snack recipe as 'extremely close' to the real thing.
'The salty-sweet combo is perfection!' She said in her video.
The snack was an instant hit with her followers, with many of them commenting to share their feelings and their Snickers bar dupes.
'Love it, a healthy, easy treat,' said one, while another commented, 'Even if it didn't taste like Snickers, that combo is chef's kiss!'

While some fans noted the absence of one of Snickers' key ingredients, caramel, Tigga maintains that it isn't necessary because the combination is already sweet enough.
'For starters, I would say these contain less sugar. They are saltier than Snickers, as well. It has Snickers vibes but is still different,' she responded to one fan in the comments on her video.
So, if you're looking for a healthier option for your favourite snack or just want to try something new in the kitchen, why not give Tigga's snack recipe a go? You can also check out some of the other Snickers-inspired recipes shared by Tigga's fans.
For example, there were suggestions of using Ritz crackers with chocolate and peanut butter or dates, crunchy peanut butter and chocolate.
