Discover Kmart's $35 alternative to the Dyson Airwrap!

When it comes to purchasing a hair styling tool, the sky-high price tag of the latest hair dryers, straighteners and curlers often deters us from purchasing one.
Luxury products from the likes of GHD, Revlon and Dyson tend to set back a pretty penny, and the cost can often blow the budget—even more so when compared with cheaper alternatives.
At the end of the day, people just want sleek, silky and volumised hair no matter the tool or technique we use. Unfortunately, when it comes to striking the balance between price, quality and expected results, it’s hard.
So, for people who are conscious of their budget, it can be incredibly refreshing to come across an item of good quality that doesn't cost that much money.
And that’s just what's happened to Paris Woods, a Kmart shopper who picked up an affordable Anko Hot Air Styler Kit from the budget supermarket giant.
At the bargain price of $35, the tool had already caught the eye of many shoppers who were keen to give it a go.
Paris couldn't wait to put it through when it arrived and shared a video on social media of her results, captioning, 'I might actually have to swap over from the Dyson at this point.'
The Kmart shopper said the results are perfectly straight and silky locks at two times the speed of the high-end models.
'Are you kidding me? It looks so good,' she said while adding, 'So far, it's taken me...probably five minutes and it looks incredible.'
Paris shared again to social media creating a video comparing the high-end model and budget choice.
What she found was that both items put up a formidable performance in styling her locks.
Comparing the Kmart buy to the $899 Dyson Airwrap and $109 Revlon One-Step Volumiser, it wasn't just Paris who was impressed.
'I was not expecting it to do something good!' one commented.
Another wrote: 'Kmart hair tools are so good.’
'I need this immediately,' another said.
While the Dyson brand was a good choice due to its easy-to-use features, the Kmart alternative won in terms of volumising her hair. Plus, it comes at a cost that’s more affordable.
‘Both of these tools are amazing. I feel a lot more comfortable using this (the Dyson Airwrap), I do think it's much easier to use. But that's probably because it's $900,' Paris argued.
‘For all those people saying the Kmart one will never compare to the Dyson, I'm pretty happy. For $35 compared to $900.’
