Who remembers hopping on the back of a mate’s bike for a ride? Some called it ‘doubling’, while others knew it as ‘dinking’. That was in the REAL world.

I remember dinking many times but not on the back though because that's the position on the bike seat for the peddlers whereas the person being dinked sat on the bar from the front of the bike that runs to under the seat frame.And also sometimes between the handle bars themselves if they could fit.

Remember my brother dinking me on the straight bar, a very uncomfortable ride!! It was either that or walk to school.
