Secret to fighting diabetes with one and only one plant. Before revealing this secret to you, let me tell you what diabetes is, the types of diabetes that exist and by what signs can we recognize that we have diabetes, how our parents treated diabetes and finally I will tell you the great secret against diabetes that I have the pleasure of discovering here in Atacora from a 103 year old. More precisely in Manta in the commune of Boukoumbé
Diabetes is often considered a silent disease because it can progress in you for ten to fifteen years without any noticeable signs, especially for type 2.
What actually is diabetes?
Our body needs energy for its functioning. The element that provides it with energy comes from our food through a nutrient called glucose. This sweet nutrient needs to be transformed into energy in order to be usable by the body. For its transformation, it needs another element which is provided by the pancreas called insulin.
There is then diabetes in the following two cases:
1- The pancreas cannot produce the insulin it needs
2- The pancreas produces insulin well but the body's cells are unable to use these insulins to transform glucose.
In both cases, glucose accumulates in the blood and we speak of hyperglycemia.
So we have type 1 diabetes which mainly affects children and young adults, then type 2 diabetes which appears after the age of 40. There is also gestational diabetes which manifests itself during pregnancy and disappears after childbirth.
We said above that diabetes can remain in a subject for 10 to 15 years without any apparent sign, but the major disadvantage of this is the risk of sometimes very severe complications. That is to say, it gradually deteriorates a large number of organs (eye, kidney, artery, nerves, etc.) until the day it causes a serious health problem (stroke, myocardial infarction. Or a complication). irreversible (kidney failure, chronic, impaired vision, overweight, high blood pressure or hypercholesterolemia, which are sometimes associated with it, should be a warning.
So how can you tell if you have diabetes?
There are a few signs that can help you suspect diabetes. Here are a few:
- you need to drink lots of water or other refreshing drinks very frequently,
- you want to eat frequently and in sufficient quantity, in the case of type one diabetes is paradoxically accompanied by weight loss
- the need to urinate a lot and very recurrently.
- you have tingling in your feet;
- General fatigue manifested by shortness of breath and an acceleration in heart rate at the slightest physical effort,
- you have erectile dysfunction if you are a man,
- you frequently develop pimples or abscesses,
-you have urinary infections
- loss of consciousness, which could lead to the death of the patient
- the soles of your feet that sting like you trample on needles;
- The toe which bends slightly,
- wounds that heal with great difficulty.
- you urinate and you see that flies or ants are gathering around the place where you urinated.
After these signs, let's see how our parents treated diabetes?
They thought that since sugar is abundant in the blood, the solution would be to eat bitter things. This is why they crush the charantia (gnissinkin in Fon) to drink or consume sokpèkpè or even the decoction of the morinda lucida plant.
I too believed in these things until the day I discovered that you don't need to consume bitter things to regulate blood sugar levels, just by using the leaves of bridelia ferrugina, this plant whom I once knew in the south of Benin for the treatment of chronic infections is a true absolute master in the resolution of diabetes.
Today the good news is that you can use it effectively against diabetes.
What is still good about this plant is that it stabilizes the blood sugar level so that, after stabilization, even if you consume it, the level does not go below normal. What's more awesome? How to use this plant that you see in images.
