Deal with potential Scams
Post office scam.
If anything looks too good to true, probably is.
I use Outlook for Email.
Anything unexpected or looks dodgy I open the message then select the Sender and check. Some of the senders email addresses look so obviously fake they stand out. Anything that looks odd, consider it doubtful. Then select the Arrow at the bottom normally used for reply or forwarding but at the bottom there should be Block sender. I then select delete. It doesn’t stop emails from that sender but puts a red symbol near the top on the Righthand side. Any more with this icon get deleted on arrival.
Microsoft and NBN don’t do Cold Calling.
The calls from Security Departments of Visa etc are fake so I I usually just hang up but if I’m not busy i sometimes string them along, usually foreigners, but they start with Robo Calls, then select 1 to cancel the purchase etc usually from EBay or Amazon.
The world is becoming a dangerous place.
