The employee cannot say that they did not know about the card skimmer. I would suggest "allegedly and my opinion only" that this individual (store employee or manager) may have not only known about the skimmer but may have been responsible for the skimmer being attached to the machine, so he could skim peoples card details and steal from customer's account. The time it would have taken to attach a skimmer and tape the skimmer down, I doubt anyone could suggest the cashier attendant would not have witnessed a person acting staringly around the store card reader terminal and being in such close proximity to the employee. "This is My opinion only, based on the evidence I have witnessed.
