Both my grandfathers parent's were Irish county Kerry and cork . My grandmother's were English from Liverpool.

My father was a bastard literally and gave no idea where he is from but my sister did a DNA test and found his biological parent's and uncle's in Tasmania. That was 3 months ago and she is now in contact but as I said my father or should I say sperm donor is a bastard 🙂

Family ancestry is interesting...always a few secrets here and there!

It actually originated in the 1700s in Ireland not England.😁but if you look up the history it’s very debatable.
Everything I am reading says it was made in England first, but I wasn't there, who knows.
That wasn't the point anyway.

I don't care where it originated from...I will be cooking this for dinner tonight - yum! Another good idea.
I thought Irish/British/Scottish much the same?
Someone else who hasn't read the history books or yesterday's mail.
But your right it is Yum!

So that's why you don't like the English. But happy to cook an English recipe.
Who said I didn't like the English , I didn't like the negative comment regarding Australian's

My Grandmother was English and my grandfather Irish well both their parents were. .
Alot of recipes I post are my grandmother's
