Here’s the truth: No matter how many times you check everything on your list or read up on wedding mistakes, there will be something that goes wrong on your big day.
It could be drunk guests dancing, dodgy comments during the speech, inconsiderate relatives, and many more. Some guests just can’t help but take their rude behaviour to such heights that it ruins the celebration.

The first story is about an attention-seeking guest who made a big fuss because apparently, the bride didn’t know she was engaged.

This poor groomsman passed out at the altar during his own wedding. Guess he can’t take being in the ‘heat’ of the moment?

Another story of an attention-seeking guest; this time, it was the bride’s mother-in-law. It’s not enough that she announced her own engagement during the wedding, but she also decided to wear her winter-white micro-mini skirt wedding suit the next day.
The same user shared another wedding horror story: about her husband’s childhood best friend. Apparently, the best friend and his girlfriend showed up to the reception absolutely stoned out of their minds. To make matters worse, his mum also ate more than half of the groom’s cake.

Talk about embarrassing! One aunt brought a piñata in the shape of a woman so the groom could ‘pop’ something since the bride wasn’t a virgin. Thankfully, it never made it to the reception. Some relatives shouldn’t really be invited…

This story is about the bride’s father wanting all the attention to himself. Not only did he ruin her sister’s speech, but he also made it a point to let everyone know the couple did not know each other that long and ‘rushed’ to get married.
The bride was so hurt that she almost ran out of the room to cry. It’s good that she didn’t, because this was her wedding day and no one was allowed to ruin it.

To think that it’s not only the guests that ruin the occasion… This person’s officiant was over an hour late and brought her adult daughter who ate all the bacon-wrapped scallops. When reprimanded, she responded by telling the couple they were going to hell.
