Coles versus the customer

Yesterday we shopped at one of the 3 Coles branches where we live in Busselton in WA, normally we shop at Coles in Vasse and no worries there, but as we were in Busselton we went into the branch in Princes street which is a big shop. Now usually at the end of each aisle there is an A4 sized information tablet that shows where items are and which aisle they can be found i.e. Jam in Aisle 1. However at this store everyone of those information lists have been removed and our shopping took twice as long as normal as we had to go around and around and at age 86 this was annoying. So I went to the information desk and politely complained to the supervisor and she said that they had removed all the lists as they were getting broken. And she gave me a customer care 1800 number to call so that I could complain and so I have done that. I was also told about the Coles App and I now have that on my phone and have been finding my around the App. But not everyone has a mobile phone where a Coles App can be consulted so I think it was worth complaining about. I have not had any feedback either although I was informed that the store manager will be informed of my complaint.
