COLES Rip-Off !
Hello All,
A Happy New Year from Tasmania.
A new policy of COLES Supermarkets has me fuming !
I was absolutely amazed when my wife told me that she had bought a COLES Gift Card (To give to a friend who is moving away) and when she came to pay for it they had the absolute Gall to charge her $5 to "ACTIVATE" the card.
I feel that that is an absolute RIP-OFF !!! As it was a COLES Gift Card the $50 (or whatever) will obviously be spent in a Coles, now they want you charge you for the "privilege" of spending money in their stores.
Whoever was the Duty Manager at Coles Ulverstone that day can can count Him/herself lucky I wasn't with her. I would have spoilt their whole day with my suggestions as to where to File their gift cards !!!
