Coles gives back to Aussie homes again this Christmas! Here’s how you can claim your free item

The holiday season is upon us, and with it comes the warmth of traditions and the joy of giving.

For many Australian families, the magic of Christmas is a time to come together, share stories, and create memories that last a lifetime.

What better way to sprinkle a little extra magic on the festivities than with a heartwarming gesture from one of the country's leading supermarkets?

Coles brought back its delightful gifting tradition to millions of Aussies this year: a free Christmas essential that's sure to light up the eyes of children and adults alike.

Families may now visit Coles to claim a free Reindeer Carrot from their local store.

This charming initiative could add a touch of whimsy to each household.

The tradition of Reindeer Carrots pushed through thanks to the generosity of five Australian growers who have donated 55 tonnes of carrots for the supermarket's special Christmas programme.

It's a gesture meant to bring smiles to families nationwide as children prepare for Santa Claus' much-anticipated visit along with his reindeer.

According to a recent survey conducted by Coles, over three-quarters of households with young children still leave out cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer.

To make the experience even more authentic, parents and caregivers take a few playful bites out of the snacks as 'evidence' of Santa's grateful pit stop.

This year, Coles is not only spreading holiday cheer but also reinforcing its commitment to sustainability.

Coles' General Manager of Commercial Produce, Charlotte Gilbert, highlighted the dual benefits of the giveaway.

'Free Reindeer Carrots are a fantastic way to reduce food waste while spreading holiday cheer,' Ms Gilbert shared.

'By giving these perfectly edible carrots a purpose, we're not only ensuring Santa's reindeer have a treat while on their big journey but also supporting our commitment to sustainability.'

The initiative should be a sweet reminder of the simple joys that make Christmas so unique.

Last year, Coles also gave away free Reindeer Carrots to their customers.

Coles' Reindeer Carrots are more than just a snack for Santa and his fleet-footed friends; they're a symbol of the community spirit and shared joy during the holiday season.

So, as you deck the halls and prepare for next week's festivities, remember to stop by Coles to pick up your free Reindeer Carrot.

Hurry, as the Reindeer Carrots are only available until 24 December!
