Coeur de France​

I love wisteria, it always reminds me of my nana. As part of our holiday, we have been learning (er, well, trying to learn) French. This wisteria-covered school is called Coeur de France, and, as the name suggests, it's in the heart of France, in a medieval village called Sancerre. The wisteria is over 120 years old. I recommend this place if anyone would like to experience immersive language, or just have a very peaceful holiday in a beautiful part of the world.

Okay, I want those flowers all over my garden NOW!

Me tooooo! And they are everywhere in Sancerre. Every garden fence, wall, house etc is festooned with wisteria. It was great seeing it go from buds to full bloom in the 2 weeks we were there. Heaps of lilacs everywhere, too. The place was a purple haze. The scent was amazing.
