Yep I knew how to walk the dog and go around the world. I even remember when the international yo yo team came to my school and performed tricks.
I still have some of my yo yos!

I knew how to do the basics as well and when the international team came out they even let some of us use the yo yos they were using, but it didn't make a difference.
You should check to see if any of your originals are worth anything, check them out on Ebay, you could have a small fortune hiding away.
