These used to be my favourites when I was a young thing. I loved freckles also. i was excited to find Cobbers and Freckles in a Lolly shop but they were so small. I was a little let down.

Loved these English lollies you can still buy them today. Yum.

Dolly mixtures were miniature sweets like little tiny jellies. tiny soft squares in pastel colours etc. When I was a little child in England I went to the local corner shop and Mr Honeysett weighed them out of a big glass jar into a little white paper bag (as they did for many sweets in those days.
