Clip of a nine year old girl passing out next to her father while on a slingshot ride trends and leaves thousands in fits of laughter

We’ve all had our fair share of unforgettable and embarrassing moments at amusement parks. Luckily for most of us, technology wasn’t as developed and we were able to get away with nearly throwing up over the person next to us on a rollercoaster ride without the whole world seeing it on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
One little girl was thrown into the limelight after hilariously proving that rollercoasters truly aren’t for everyone.
During a family holiday at the Gold Coast, Molly Barrett showed an interest in giving the slingshot ride a shot after realising that she was now tall enough to meet the ride’s height requirements.
“Be careful what you wish for… The only way is up… We are never doing anything like this ever, ever again,” her father, AJ Barret can be heard muttering in the footage as the nervous pair braced for takeoff.
Moments later, Molly was screaming at the top of her lungs before blacking out completely. The little girl remained unconscious for about five more seconds as the ride went on to launch the adorable pair for a second time.

“We were shot into the night sky at approximately 6G‘s and were not able to see much and trying to keep the horizon in your view is very difficult,” AJ explained.
“There were instant screams from Molly and then she blacked out, woke up, screamed, and blacked out again.”
“It was Molly‘s idea to go on the ride. She saw it on our previous trip,”
“She could see it from our hotel window and the first thing she mentioned when we arrived was ‘where is the slingshot?’ as it had moved,” the dad continued.
AJ said that the family was ‘gobsmacked’ when the video reached a whopping two million views online.
“I took one for the team, as she was so hellbent on going on it,” he added. “Molly took a shine to all the rides on the Gold Coast SeaWorld, Warner Bros, and Movie World,”
“She went on any ride that allowed her with her height, most time roping her mum and sisters into going with her, and me, of course,”
“This was her idea. As soon as she knew she met the height restrictions, she would not let up,”
“When we got off the ride we were able to watch the video. We all absolutely laughed our heads off!”
The video left thousands in hysterics, flocking to the comments section of the video to express their reactions.

“Poor little darling. I feel terrible laughing so much!” one user wrote.
“THE GIRL DIED TWO TIMES AND THEN CAME BACK FROM THE DEAD JUST TO SCREAM AGAIN.” another teasingly pointed out.
“That's one brave little girl right there. She passed out twice and still wanted to go again.” chimed a third.
A fourth commented: “You make me miss my dad. But also, you are probably the best dad ever for doing crazy things with her.” to which AJ responded: “I try and do my best to keep her happy and loving life.”
“I thought she was going to cry but she ended up liking it. If that were me, I would have had tears of terror and cried for my mummy!” said one more.
