Cleaning pro shares THREE quick and easy kitchen-cleaning tips she swears by – using only a few household items!

A cleaning and organisation pro, who has been featured several times here at the SDC already, is back again to share with us three quick and easy cleaning hacks to keep our kitchens sparkling clean and odour-free.

You folks might be already familiar with the name Chantel Mila, who is more popularly known on social media as Mama Mila, for her cleaning tips and tricks, such as the hassle-free stovetop cleaning hack, the quick and easy stained grout brightening hack, and the multiple ways she keeps her home dust-free in only a few minutes.

On her TikTok account, the mum-of-two from Melbourne recently shared that she swears by a few household items when it comes to cleaning her kitchen.

Whenever she has to "deep clean" her fridge, Mama Mila uses a mixture of vinegar, water, and two tablespoons of vanilla extract in a spray bottle to disinfect and remove any lingering odour inside.

After spraying, she polishes each glass shelf, labels each tub, and puts everything back into order again.

To keep her fridge odour-free for longer, all Chantel has to do is brew herself a cuppa.

Then, she takes the leftover coffee grounds and places them into a small dish. By placing them on a shelf inside her fridge, she can deodorise the appliance and give it a fresh scent at the same time.

When it comes to keeping her sink clean and shiny, the mum simply pours baby oil on the stainless steel and proceeds to wipe the surface clean with a cloth, giving it a shining and gleaming finish.

You can also do this on taps, bathroom sinks and shower handles! Just make sure you wipe the oil properly after – or else, you might be in for a slippery surprise.

Chantel's video on TikTok has already been viewed over 300,000 times, with hundreds of users commenting and praising her for the helpful tips.

"Great hacks," wrote one user, followed by a compliment: "Your sink is SO shiny!"

"Will try that cleaning spray out! The baby oil one sounds handy too," added a second user.

Others also commend the idea of putting coffee grinds in the fridge, with some admitting they feel dumb for never thinking of it before.

Do you find these tricks helpful as well, members? And do you have more kitchen-cleaning tips to share with us?

Do these people actually have a life? While I agree that you have to have a clean and tidy home surely these people are over the top. A sink is a sink, not a mirror, I know I wouldn't be losing any sleep if my sink had a watermark in it. My house is a home, with people living in it and it shows, it's definitely not a show home but I wouldn't have it any other way, I want people to feel comfortable and able to relax.;)

Thanks for using the well known word 'tips' instead of that infuriating modern made up word 'hacks' which I think means the same thing.

I drafted a response about suffragettes having sacrificed so much to get women the right to vote and yet, more than 100 years later, we still have women who feel the need to polish their kitchen sinks, but then decided against posting that as I might have been hauled before the courts for defamation.

And, in case you wonder, my sex (and my gender) is female.

Don't feel too bad I am a bloke and am happy to have a nice clean sink. I think we have moved on from referencing the Suffragettes as the glass ceiling has been broken in every single area. I also think the correct term is gender not sex. I am a bloke and reckon have more chance of being hauled before the courts of defamation than a woman.

Two TABLESPOONS of vanilla extract??? Vanilla extract is incredibly concentrated and comes in a tiny bottle and costs about $10. That would be very strong and very expensive fridge cleaner!
