If you’re a fan of hacks (as we’re sure you all are), we’ve got you covered, folks! Melbourne based mum-of-two and cleaning guru, Chantel Mila (also known as @mama_mila), has taken to Tiktok to share three epic hacks that are super easy and super effective!

She started off the video with a simple trick that will keep you from fumbling for your keys in a desperate attempt to unlock your door. She laid down three separate keys and painted the top areas with a distinct nail polish colour. This colour coding technique is the perfect way to easily label your keys to their corresponding doors— and it’s cute too!

Chantel proceeds with her next hack that effectively keeps any water bottle cooler. She fills a water bottle halfway and directs users to leave it in the freezer lying down. Once it’s frozen, she takes the bottle out of the freezer and pours water into the remaining space.

For her final trick, the cleaning queen rubs Vaseline on her wrist before spritzing some perfume to lock in the scent and make it last longer.

Thousands of users adored the life-hacks and showed their amazement in the comments section.

“The water bottle hack is genius!!” a person commented.

“You have the best easy but useable hacks!!” another said.

“Dropped everything to colour code my keys.” a third wrote.

Her TikTok video amassed an astounding total of over 169K likes and 200 comments in only 24 hours. The sensational Chantel Mila is currently sitting at 789K followers for her cleaning, styling, and DIY TikTok content.

She had previously shared hacks on keeping your bathroom odour free, and even getting rid of pesky red wine stains!

I use nail polish on my keys too …..my kitchen and laundry door keys look the same so I write the initial in nail polish (“L” for laundry etc).
I’ve been doing the frozen water bottle trick for years but will definitely be trying the Vaseline before perfume trick! Thanks

Ok, I’m so tired of the word “hack”, used to describe some kind of a smart way of doing things, that I had to find out what’s the real meaning of the word “hack”!!!
To my surprise, there wasn’t anything positive about the meaning of that word
So, why not use the expression “such person discover a smart way of doing this or that” instead?
Am I being old fashioned?.

Yeah Hack does sound like you are doing something illegal. Some of the things they think are life changing I have been doing for 50 years. I suppose because we grew up in an era where you had to do things on the cheap, you had to find a way to clean clothes with what you had in the cupboard, that dress/top didn't get thrown out it got mended etc. We think this is not so new but people that are young think they are geniuses because it has saved them time or money. We are just getting old but we are still in fashion though

Always get front door keys cut in RED, and security door key in Green. The Shed or Garage are in Purple. If in a hurry, or panic, it is soon much easier to get inside quickly. Females who use Uber & taxis, or are being pursued, wld find this helpful.
