A blonde and a brunette were watching the 9 o’clock TV news.

“I wonder if he’ll jump” said the blonde on seeing a man swaying back and forth on the edge of a high-rise balcony.

“I bet you $50 he does” said the brunette; “You’re on” replied the blonde.

“Oh” exclaimed the blonde on seeing the man jump from the balcony, then opened her bag and took out her purse.

“No no” said the brunette “I was only pulling your leg, I saw him jump on the 8 o’clock news”

The blonde took out a $50 note from her purse and gave it to the brunette.

“It’s a fair bet,” she said “I saw him jump on the 8 o’clock news as well, I didn’t think he’d jump again."
