Chocolate Chip Biscuits

Chocolate Chip Biscuits - recipe from Jamie Oliver.

100gr butter
1/2 cup raw sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
200gr S/R flour
pinch of salt
100gr chocolate chips

In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until pale and creamy.
Crack in the egg, add the vanilla extract and mix well.
Add the flour and salt, and fold through the mixture.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Roll tablespoons of the dough into balls and place onto 2 lined baking trays.
Place them in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Then flatten the balls slightly with your fingers.

Bake in oven 170 degrees fan forced or 190 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
Makes 23 biscuits.

Not alot of chefs invent their recipes, either they copy or change another's recipe.

I thought RecipeTin eats created her own until I came across an old recipe which was exact to hers
Never heard of her looked her up. She says she makes up most of her recipes. She actually feeds homeless people everyday in Sydney remarkable woman😁

I've only used dark chocolate chips which has more flavour compared to milk chocolate.
Sometimes, I've used half white and half dark chocolate chips.
I always aim to put chocolate chunks in mine but they always end up in my gob for some reason🙀so only cocoa powder in mine.😹

She is an amazing woman. I met her once and sometimes chat on instagram. I'm going to send her the recipe I found because it's like hers exactly.
She is not a qualified chef , she calls herself a home cook
