Are you looking to spruce up your next family dinner? Look no further than this delicious Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce recipe! This recipe is simple to make but is oozing with flavour. The creamy sauce oozes over the juicy chicken; when it’s finished cooking, you’re left with a tender and delicious contemporary dish.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dried dill
1 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp butter
½ cup cream
2 tbsp capers, drained and rinsed
Directions
First, season the chicken breasts with lemon pepper, salt, dill, and garlic powder.
Next, grab a large skillet and melt butter in it over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the breasts to the pan and turn up the heat to medium-high. Turn the chicken pieces frequently until it has browned (about 5 minutes). Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for an additional 5 to 7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Once done, pull the skillet off the heat and remove the chicken to a warm serving platter, covering it with foil.
Return the skillet to the stove and turn up the heat to high. We now want to whisk in the whipping cream. Continue whisking until the sauce has reduced to a sauce consistency (about 3 minutes in total). Remove from heat, and then stir in capers.
Finally, pour the sauce over the chicken and serve it to your family or guests.
