After a night out drinking (nothing new there ) with two Australian Navy officers and an early 20s girl, I went back to a house to continue after the local club had closed. As I lived about 300 metres away, I staggered home at about 3 in the morning.

Fast forward to 7 am Saturday morning. I was awoken by my then wife who said "There are two detectives who want to see you". WHAT!! One male, the other female, after the customary "where were you, what time and with whom" questions, said I was on suspicion of forcing the young girl in question to perform oral sex with force in parkland at Callala Bay between the two residences at approximately 4 am. Well, that was a major shock and I wouldn't have forgot it if it happened!

In company of the male detective, I was asked to drop my pants and flop out the old fella so he could manual inspect it with gloved hands. Well that was the epitome of sexual arousal....not. The reason for this procedure was to check for bite marks, of which the girl allegedly inflicted on my now shrunken member. Nothing to see there so all was good and the detectives left without further action.

Some hours later, I fronted up to the house in question to find out the whole story. Apparently, the detectives told the two Navy guys that this girl had made no fewer then eight false sexual assault allegations in the Shoalhaven area in the past few months. So in reality, she should have been the one charged in my view!

After the initial anger dissipated, all I can do is laugh when I think about it, but how many men have been a victim of such vindictive behaviour in the past and been charged, convicted or even jailed in the past?
