I gave an old chest of drawers a makeover. It took time, effort and energy but the result was well worth it

I usually have a quiet weekend but this one was different. On Friday I was treated to lunch by a friend of my daughters, at night I went to the Wantirna Club and had a lovely dinner. Saturday I went to a friends place and sat on a lovely balcony taking in the view, while my host spent the afternoon cooking a beautiful meal then I was driven home to have a lazy night.

I prepared a little ready for school book I’m making to sell - for ages 3-6.

Just to let you know, the $1.49 at Puma Wanneroo doesn't exist. No Puma north of Perth has been under $1.67 this year. cheers.

We celebrated our 2nd great grand daughter 's second birthday with family at a picnic. Lovely to be outdoors, although a bit windy.

Last Thursday l took my wife to see What's Love got to do with lt. Predictable ending, but an enjoyable movie. Yesterday we went to an 80th birthday at a Brewery/ Restaurant located inside what was Melbournes Pentridge Prison. It was in one of the venue rooms. We were served drinks and finger food. There was a band, but were a bit loud, making it hard to talk. Still it was quite enjoyable all the same.

It was a quiet week end for me. Friday night my 18 year old baby sat for her sister from Friday to Sunday 1 year old 3 year old and 5 year old , come Saturday she couldn't deal with it so my other daughter took over. 3 year old Hid her ipods so I needed to go find them ..and I did.

Sunday I stayed in bed all day watching movies then we ordered in the mist delicious Chinese dinner
