Who remembers recording songs off the radio onto a cassette recorder? Radio cranked up, finger poised over the ‘Record’ button, hoping to catch your favourite songs. Kids today will never know the struggle! Do you still have your old cassette recorder? Share your memories with us!

A few weeks ago I discovered some cassette tapes made by my family back in the mid 1970s on a cassette player just like this. Would you believe I still have the cassette player in the original box. I’m yet to play the cassettes but will be interested to find out what is on them!

I have a hand held one. The two on my old stereo though no longer work.

I used to make so many compilation tapes for home and as romantic gifts to various girlfriends over the decades.

They were so easy and effective to use. The cassette recorders, that is.

Quality was pretty good too....for both! 🤣

Sometimes old tech can be the best or almost as good as new tech.

For example, Vinyl records are huge again and have a unique sound.
