Car mechanic reveals top secret trick to unlock ANY car… But there’s a catch
- Replies 4
We should always lock our car doors whenever we leave it parked, whether it's just for a quick errand or overnight. It's just good common sense, and it's always better to be safe than sorry.
But what if you're in a situation where you've lost your keys and your car is locked? You could call a locksmith, of course – but that would cost you an arm and a leg.
Alternatively, you could try this mind-blowing trick that has taken the internet by storm.
A mechanic revealed a quick and easy trick for unlocking any car with nothing but a piece of paper… However, people aren't convinced it works.
Popular YouTuber, Cam Casey, put the mechanic's unusual method to the test in a now-viral video after stumbling across it online.

The hack supposedly works by placing a piece of paper over a car door handle and hitting it with the palm of your hand until it rips over the keyhole.
'Does that actually work? Let's find out,' Cam can be heard saying in the video. He yanks his car door handle repeatedly to prove that it is locked before placing a standard A4 piece of paper over the handle.
'We take the piece of paper and we put it over the keyhole here. Now, we just start hitting it.’ he continued.
After a few smacks, Cam grabs the handle and what once was a locked car door, magically opens with ease.
‘It actually works!’ he claims excitedly.
The slight catch is that many of Cam's 8.1 million subscribers believed it was either a prank or completely fake. A few pointed out that he muted the sound while someone off-screen unlocked the door.

'He really muted the audio for half a second while he was banging so that someone else could unlock it.’ one user theorised.
'In case people were wondering, he has a car that automatically unlocks when your key is with you and you grab the handle. It unlocked a few seconds before pulling the handle, you can hear it.’ another chimed.
'This is fake, someone behind you unlocked the door when you were hitting it. Don't try to scam us.’ a third criticised.
Others mocked the 'ridiculous' trick and slammed the content creator for encouraging car theft.
'Criminal… I'm saving this video.’ someone teased.
'It works well, especially if the doors are unlocked!’ another joked.
‘RIP to the thief who tried this hack.’ one more added.
