My Dad's been gone since 2002 and I miss him terribly. Dad would go to the pub occasionally on Sat night. He would have a shower in the afternoon after he finished yard work. I can still smell the steam from the shower, baby powder and later years his aftershave. Also the races on the radio.

When i got married fifty eight years ago i made my dad use california poppy on his hair, as his usual
way to keep his hair tidy was to use soap water (wet hair rub in soap comb hair ). no way was he going to do on that day
