Buying Flowers
This blast from the past is something that’s an odd mix of past and present, partly because some of you might be seeing something similar later as ANZAC Day approaches.
This photograph, taken at a Sydney market stall in 1958, shows passersby and a row of flowers, including poppies. At the centre, we can see a lovely lady buying a bouquet. Who knows, it might also have been for ANZAC as well!
