leave the police alone, they have an un enviable job.---they DON`T need more idiots making it harder for them.
Like fining people walking against a "Don't Walk" sign. Has to rate right up there on the scale of heinous crimes like pedophilia, aggravated sexual assault and murder. I will say it again. Police are more likely to respond quickly to an alleged minor "crime" rather than something serious. With all the resources at hand, they still shirk the task. I even made a citizen's arrest after witnessing some young tool kicking the living shit out of an Indigenous fellow at Dandenong Railway Station a few years ago. When the oinks finally arrived, the thanks I received were deafening. The seagulls flying overhead were more appreciative. I knew this clown had secreted two 40 -50 cm kitchen knifes behind a seat but that was the least of my fears. Rescuing the old fella was more important. That's just me I suppose.

For those who doubt this, I witnessed this happening at Clayton (Vic) Railway Station in October. Both Senior Constables standing at different pedestrian crossings. Who knows? There may have been a way more serious crime being committed nearby at the time. Oh, but that goes into the "too hard" basket. Just gutless!

Real criminals get a slap on the wrist and walk free. Do anything wrong in or with a car, you get a hefty fine and loose points. Real criminals don't pay, motoists do!.
You can blame the courts for letting them off , police are fed up with catching criminals only for judges to let them go, you wonder why they bother ,the courts are a joke , and also blame the state governments for their part in weak laws. Rant over.

Careful matey, my daughter is a cop and l am privvy to a lot of info that the general public don't know about. So try not to generalize too much.
Their resources are stretched as it is. Just like the Army, everyone gets their orders from higher up. ;)

So did my daughter (She's an SC applying for the 3 stripe now as l type) 😊
My son in law was a SC and has just left the force after 14 yrs, people don’t realise what goes on behind the scenes and risks they take, putting their lives on the line everyday, with little thanks from the top brass ,the reason they are leaving the police force inQld ,I was privy to a lot that was happening and what it does to their mental health, I have nothing but respect for the boys and girls in blue ,my granddaughter has recently applied to join despite her dad trying to dissuade her, he has advised what to expect . I am well aware there are some who give the rest a bad name but you can’t judge everyone because there are a few bad 🍎 in the force.
