It’s only natural for our home to get a bit smelly at some point. Whether you live alone, with children, or with a pet, odours of all varieties are inevitable. But that does not mean that you have to suffer through the stench.

That’s why we’re here to share with you guys a hack that we came across online.

Here, one man on TikTok shared that he used a budget buy from Kmart to make his home and car smell great in a matter of seconds!

Michael from Adelaide said that the fragrance pods from Kmart have been keeping his home and car fresh-smelling without fail.

Kmart’s fragrance pods are designed to be used with their Dual Pod Fragrant Diffuser, which is sold separately. However, some shoppers were unaware and have been using the pods on their own. And it works perfectly!

According to Michael, he has one in his car and it’s enough to keep the whole interior fresh. He also placed one in his closet so that the sweet vanilla scent clings to the fabric of his clothes.

“Is it a hack or me just being lazy?” asked Michael, and we have the answer: No, it’s not laziness, it’s genius! That’s what life hacks are all about!

As a matter of fact, hundreds of users who came across his video on TikTok said the same thing. And now, the fragrance pods are flying off Kmart’s shelves as we speak. (The fragrance pods are priced at $5.50 but they’re currently on sale for only $2, so hurry folks!)

Michael’s video has been viewed over 900k times since posting, with thousands of users praising him for the amazing hack.

Some people even shared that they have been using the fragrance pods on their own, too, and aside from their closets and cars, they also place them in their bathroom, kitchen, cupboards, even air-conditioning units and vacuum filters!

Some customers also shared that each pod lasted for a good month, before having to be replaced.

Even though the product is widely praised by Kmart shoppers, some also warned against using the pods inside their cars, especially during the summer season.

Since each pod comes with a small plastic container that holds the wax inside, it is prone to melting if exposed to high temperatures.

In fact, one person shared that his pod melted inside his car and now it’s “stuck there forever”.

Looks like we’re off to Kmart, folks!
