Bring brand new furniture home for less thanks to this obscure IKEA section!

IKEA, the Swedish home furnishings behemoth, has long been a go-to destination for stylish, affordable furniture and home accessories.

Did you know that nestled within the maze of showrooms and marketplace aisles lies a treasure trove for the savvy shopper?

The As-Is market is IKEA's little-known section that could change the way you shop in the home improvement giant.

The 'As-Is' section is a bargain hunter's paradise tucked near the store's check-out counters.

Shoppers can find a vast array of items ranging from discontinued items to pre-loved furniture and showroom displays.

The best part? These pieces come in varying discounts depending on their condition.

Melbourne local Zoe could not believe her luck when she discovered a 'perfect' green velvet couch and a bed frame in the store's As-Is section.

'I've been looking for a green velvet couch. The second I step into IKEA's As-Is section, I see this green velvet couch for 40 per cent off,' Zoe exclaimed in a post.

Zoe immediately snagged the three-seat sofa used in a showroom for $719.40—a far cry from its original price of $1,199.

Yet the deals did not stop there for Zoe.

Right in front of the couch was a MALM queen-size bed frame, marked down from $329 to a mere $100.

'How much was it? It was 45 per cent off. It ended up being like a hundred dollars,' Zoe shared.

'I had to take it because I already had a mattress.'

Zoe's experience was a testament to the unexpected finds that await in IKEA.

For those who dread the idea of assembling furniture, the 'As-Is' market has a convenient solution.

Most of the furniture in their market is already pre-assembled, sparing shoppers the headache of deciphering instruction manuals.

IKEA could also deliver the bulky As-Is items for the shopper's convenience.

Zoe, who did not own a car, had the sofa and the bed frame delivered straight to her apartment.

'This is your sign to check out the As-Is section in IKEA,' Zoe advised.

'Definitely stop by the next time you go; it is incredible.'

The As-Is section garnered a cult following among IKEA enthusiasts, as many enjoyed the deals and the convenience of pre-assembled furniture.

Yet, surprisingly, there are still many who are unaware of its existence.

So, if you find yourself at a local IKEA, make a detour to the 'As-Is' section.

Who knows? You might find that statement piece all for a steal price!
