bonfire (cracker) night.
I lived in NORTH ALBURY N.S.W. when i was a kid ,and for cracker night ,,aka ''BONFIRE NIGHT---GUY FALKES NIGHT we would spend weeks building huge (and i mean ''HUGE''), BONFIRES by collecting many branches from the trees in the hills. The core being made up of old tyres
There were hundreds of these built for the big night. It took days for all the smoke to clear after the night. And we used to blow up peoples tin letter boxes with Three penny bangers (small sticks of DYNAMITE)---Man that was fun. Try doing all that today & you will be spending time ,doing time. hahahaha!
