As I am a mear 72, I could be wrong! But I had a 1965 HD Premier Holden; This I think you will find is the 1965 Holden Special; In1966 was the HR, and then the Kingswood.
I hope I have my facts right.

You are correct, non standard colour and non standard wheel trims.

I reckon that the HD holden was the ugliest of all the models with the pointed body area of the headlights. The EH models started a whole new trend. The Kingswood was just an iconic model. You only had to ask "TED BULLPITT" of Kingswood Country fame. What abt the immortalised "SANDMAN" p/van. A "FEW" names swirled around that particular van without going into finer details. The Monaro was a completely new ultimate & must have experience.
